Experienced in all household operation. For informal couple, duties include: for the man, general house and grounds maintenance, handy man for odd jobs, heavy housekeeping and will occasionally act as driver. For the woman, housekeeping, staff management and household operations. Formal couple, man is a butler, and one may be an accomplished cook or chef.

Approximate salary: $45,000 - $100,000 per couple, per year.

Companion

Experienced in elderly care and possible certified nursing assistant. This non-medical care helps older person with many tasks associated with keeping a home or household. Simple health tasks are usually included, such as taking blood pressure and temperature and helping with self-administered medications.

Approximate salary: $10.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Cook/Chef

Responsible for the family's meals, clean up and organization of the kitchen, procurement of the kitchen equipment, supplies and food. Menu planning according to the family's needs and diet restrictions may also be their responsibility.

Approximate salary: $26,000 to $50,000 per year.

His main responsibility is the care and maintenance of the employer's personal belongings. He will lay out his clothes for him in the morning and help him get dressed properly.
